We use 3 reliable sources  Salinity , Ph and  Turbidity but my favorite one is the salinity because you add a drop of the water and it will show you where it is salted at.We check water quality for the environment. There are Alligators in there and they have to be in certain waters and land.The fishes in there also need a very specific type of water.If we have a healthy river then it means we have healthy animals.The river looks better when it is clear of trash , and when the water is clearer. We test the water so we know if its salt or fresh. It could be dirty water or clean water.I really enjoyed kayaking !
