Artist Boat

The Artist Boat fieldtrip was a fun experience ! I learned how to kayak and measure turbidity , Salinity , and PH. Turbidity is measured by sechiidisk. We measure Turbidity to see is cloudiness or haziness of fluid  caused by large numbers of individually particles. Salinity is tested with Refractometers. We test Salinity to see how many salt there is in the water. We test PH  with litmus paper . We test PH to see how many acidity of aikalinity the4re is in the water. -Bertha R.
